Do you really need so much light? After 20 years of Lupine, this is a question to which there is still no clear answer. But the fact is that light can only be substituted by more light, and no other bicycle light of this size can emit more light than our Betty. Amazingly, the latest version with the integrated switch is only a few grams heavier than the considerably smaller Wilma.

With the dignity you would expect of a queen, Betty can rightly hold its head up proudly. Wherever you look you will see shot-peened, matt-anodised surfaces. The mounting is just as worthy, ably emphasising the light unit's fine appearance. In combination with the lightweight 7.5 Ah li-ion battery and 2600 lumen light head, our Betty 7 is the dream package for all friends of the night.

A light set for everyone? Most certainly not. But anyone who cycles a lot in the dark won't regret a single penny.

We are using 7 High Power new generation LEDs, for a maximum output of 2600 Lumens. Cleverly, the LEDs are user replaceable, as are the lenses - so that you will have the option of changing the lamp's focus and coverage and when extra-super bright LEDs appear in the future, you'll be able to replace them and upgrade without having to junk your lamp.

We don't use a combination of 7 standard single collimated lenses. These are available in various sizes, beam patterns and angles but as usual, did not satisfy our demands. Our lens was customized and developed by Lupine; therefore it works alot more efficiently than a standard optic. Our own lens made it possible to tune the beam pattern and provide an excellent light for night rides. By engineering a special lens array we were able to build a nice and tiny light even with 7 LED's.
